Taipei—Global leader in computer technology Micro-Star International announced today that the slender, light, and easy-to-carry X-Slim X360 laptop KO’d 91 other finalists in Computex 2010 to win the "Buyers’' Choice 2010." This win by the X360, which boasts extended battery life and a chic exterior, was the only one by a notebook computer and adds another feather to MSI’s cap. Other recent wins include the “Big Bang-Fuzion motherboard” and "FUNTORO Telematics" which both won Best Choice of Computex Taipei Awards for 2010. It once again confirms that MSI designs its products from the perspective of consumers as itemploys innovation in every detail.
The Buyers' Choice is a major award given after Computex to companies whose products are voted the best. This year, buyers from both Taiwan and overseas that attended the exhibition were asked to vote for the products that they liked the most. Individuals could vote either online or at the Computex venue. Each buyer was allowed three votes. 91 products, ranging from computers, computer peripherals, computer parts and components, and consumer electronics, made it into the finals. More than 17,000 buyers from around the world participated in the activity which lasted from 7 May to 4 June. MSI’s X-Slim X360 beat out the competition to win the Buyers’ Choice for Computex 2010 with 6,571 ballots.
Ultra slender X360 NB star of Computex
To meet customers' mobile computing needs, MSI rolled out the super efficient X-Slim X360, featuring Intel’s Arrandale platform with Core i5 duo core processor with Turbo Boost and Hyper-Threading technologies as well as the HM 55 chipset under the hood. It boasts superior multimedia and processing performance as well as nine hours of battery time per charge. Most importantly, the X360’s aesthetically-pleasing exterior didn’t change because of the enhanced multimedia performance. The new generation X360 follows the tradition of other members of the X-Slim series in that it is pleasing to the eye, slender, and light, tipping the scales at only 1.4kg. The X360, which features MSI’s own crystal diamond seal technology, was the top pick at this year’s Computex for a reason.
